Meet Soapy’s Team member: Marat Altynbaev, Soapy’s Product manager.

A little bit about me

“I came to Israel from Russia in 2004, I was 15 at the time. Right after coming to Israel I started a military-navy boarding school, served in the Israeli Navy, and finished my engineer diploma soon after. As a college student, I worked in IAI, which was a great learning experience.

Being a Product Manager

I started off as a junior product manager here at Soapy and made my way to senior product manager. I like to think of myself as a kind of “parent figure” in the product’s life. I’m its Mom and Dad. I want to make sure every little thing about it works perfectly and meets the customer’s needs. Meet Soapy’s Team member and know about it.

Getting work done

I really like working with my hands, and I get to do that a lot here at Soapy. I have a very hands-on attitude with the product. Because Soapy is a relatively new company I get to build a lot of the processes myself, which is really interesting. I also really like the rest of the team, we laugh a lot and I’m really lucky to work with them.

Working at Soapy, you have to know a lot of things about so many different topics. I never stop learning and growing, I think that’s really great.

#whywewash

Before working at Soapy, I wasn’t aware of how many diseases can actually be prevented by simply washing your hands. I like to think of myself as an ambassador to the cause now, explaining just how important it is to wash your hands thoroughly to my family and friends. I feel like I really am making an impact on them.

I wash my hands to take care of myself and my family and friends. It’s not just about my health – it’s also about looking after everyone around me. The coronavirus spreading has shown us just how much we impact our surroundings, and I want the people around me to be safe. “
